How cute are these? They sell them at Target singly, but on the Target website you can get a 4-pack for $29.99! They also come in a hot-pink-on-top-orange-on-the-bottom variation (two of which I actually have at home). I'm thinking they'd be great as table decorations (one on each table, plus the candy jars). Did I post about candy jars yet? I don't think so. But I will!

I don't think we'll be doing videography...

...but how freaking cool is this? (Best with sound).

It's official!

I bought our plane tickets for the wedding this morning! We will be flying into Providence on Saturday, May 2nd, arriving at ~8pm and flying back to Phoenix (again out of Providence--so much cheaper!) on Tuesday, May 12th at ~10am. Hooray! Another big thing I can cross off the list!

I just ordered this Epson RX595 from Amazon, and it will be arriving on Friday. I've been going back and forth on whether I wanted to have our wedding stationery professionally printed or if I just wanted to do it myself for a while now. The main deterrent from doing it myself was my old (albeit reliable) Deskjet 700 series printer. It's never given me an iota of trouble, but I've had it for the better part of a decade and I was wary of trusting hundreds of dollars of pretty paper to it. The RX595 first came into my radar over at Weddingbee, and I did some internet sleuthing for more reviews. Erika mentioned that she'd used an Epson for her invitations as well (not this particular model, though she did link to it in an e-mail), and I was sold. So, once Dana and I can decide on a photo for our save the dates, I'll work with Erika to finalize the design, buy the stationery, and get those puppies in the mail--all hopefully before Labor Day. I can't wait to play with my new toy!!
